• Ex) Using Facebook or checking emails several times a day
• Virus- a piece of code which is capable of copying itself and typically has a detrimental effect, such as corrupting the system or destroying data
• Ex) Web Scripting Virus, Boot Sector Virus, Macron Virus, etc.
• Viral- relating to or involving an image, video, piece of information, etc. that is circulated rapidly and widely from one internet user to another

• Blog- a regularly updated website or web page
• Ex)  An online journal on a certain interest

                 

• Wiki- a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users
• Ex) A free encyclopedia in many languages 

                

• URL- the address of a world wide website
• Ex) To a resource on the internet

               

• Website- a location connected to the internet that maintains one or more pages on the World Wide Web
• Ex) For more information

             

• WWW- combination of all resources
• Ex) Accessible information  

           

• Internet- a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities
• Ex) When two computers are connected over the internet

        

• 2.0- the second stage of development of the World Wide Web especially by the change form static web page to dynamic
• Ex) Social networking sites or social media

• Ex) Mozilla Firefox
