How I memorized "Richard Cory?"

The Richard Cory poem was a long poem to memorized in my offense. This poem starts off with an ordinary guy who lives a perfect life; however, it ends off with a dark turn. The way how I memorized the Richard Cory poem was by reading the poem out loud, repeating each line, and saying it into a mirror. With these methods, it helped me in memorizing the poem but throughout mid-process, I started to forget. Because f this, I had to think of another method to use which is why I used the poem as my background screen. The reason why I did this is that I mainly use my phone on a daily basis and turning on my phone helped me realize to learn each line of the poem. Another method that truly helped me with the Richard Cory poem was reading out loud to my little sister. Whenever I made a mistake she would correct me, which made it easier for me to memorize the poem word by word.
