The book that I'm currently reading right now is called "A Walk To Remember" by Nicholas Sparks. It starts off when fifty-seven-year-old Landon Carter narrating and reflecting on events about his past. Opens with a prologue in which the older Landon Carter is seventeen who lives in the same North Carolina town. Stands near the Baptist church that figures prominently in the novel and who gets into the mindset of his seventeen old self. Takes place in 1958, and Landon tells us a joyful and yet a sad love story that changed his life for the better.
