How I Read

When I read a book I prefer them to be suspenseful, mystery, and romance. The time where I truly made a connection for reading was in eighth grade. I never had the interest to read in my spare time. Util that year, my English teacher opened my love towards reading. As a kid I've always had a hard to learn how to read and write. My teachers would always say that I needed to improve my reading/ writing skills during parent conferences. I knew that I had to work on that as a kid but no one really  helped me on what type of books that would catch my attention. When it came to eighth grade that's when I found myself reading books in my spare time and exploring different types of genres. Now knowing what I like in a book, that is suspense, mystery, and romance it brings me anticipation on wanting to know what would happen next. Having me be on the edge of my sit while reading rather their love will last or if they found the killer or not.
